When an alien entity approaches Earth's solar system, Omni-Man calls on Mark to intercept it while he is occupied elsewhere. Mark tracks the visitor into open space, and the clash carries both of them to the surface of the Moon. The encounter is Mark's first contact with the Coalition of Planets.
