Sam Rosen

DESCRIPTION

Sam Rosen was an American comic book letterer and logo designer, best known for his work with Marvel Comics during the Silver Age of Comics (1950s–1970s). He was one of Marvel’s most recognizable lettering artists, helping define the visual style of classic titles such as The Avengers, Fantastic Four, Captain America, and The Amazing Spider-Man.

Rosen’s clear, bold hand-lettering gave energy and rhythm to the pages, helping shape the tone of early Marvel storytelling. He also designed several iconic logos for Marvel titles. Sam Rosen passed away in 1992, but his work remains influential in comic lettering and design.
