Bob Karp was an American writer who scripted the Donald Duck daily strip from 1938 to 1974 with artist Al Taliaferro. He wrote Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold, the first Donald Duck comic, in 1942, and scripted Merry Menagerie from 1947 to 1962.
