Troubleshooting Common Pull List Issues on VerseDB

If you're experiencing issues with your Pull List on VerseDB, this guide will help you identify and resolve common problems. Below are solutions to the most frequent issues users encounter.

Issue: A Series Is Not Appearing in My Pull List

If you've added a series to your Pull List but can't find it:

Check Your Account – Make sure you're logged into the correct VerseDB account.

Verify the Status Filter – Your series might be filtered out:

  1. Go to your Pull List
  2. Check the Status filter at the top
  3. Try selecting "All" or "Active" to see all series

Check if Series Was Actually Added – Look for a confirmation message when adding.

Try Adding the Series Again – Remove and re-add it to refresh.

📌 Still not seeing the series? Contact support at Support Page.

Issue: Not Receiving Weekly Email Notifications

If you enabled weekly emails but aren't receiving them:

Step 1: Check Global Email Settings

  1. Go to Profile Settings → Notifications
  2. Verify that Pull List email notifications are enabled

Step 2: Check Per-Series Settings

  1. Go to your Pull List
  2. Click "Edit" on a series
  3. Ensure "Notify on Release" is toggled ON

Step 3: Verify Email Address

  1. Go to Profile Settings
  2. Confirm your registered email is correct

Step 4: Check Spam/Junk Folder

Sometimes emails get filtered incorrectly. Add [email protected] to your contacts.

Step 5: Verify You Have Upcoming Issues

Emails are only sent if you have:

  • Active series (not paused or canceled)
  • Upcoming releases for the week
  • Issues that aren't skipped

📌 No upcoming releases = No email!

Issue: Skipped Issues Still Appearing

If issues you've skipped are still showing up:

Refresh the Page – Clear your browser cache and reload.

Check the "Include Skipped Issues" Filter – Some views have an option to show skipped issues.

Verify the Issue Was Skipped – Go to the series issues modal and confirm the skip status.

Check Email Settings – Skipped issues should not appear in weekly emails. If they do, report this bug.

📌 If skipped issues still appear in your weekly email, contact support.

Issue: Unable to Export or Print Pull List

Print Not Working (Available to All Users)

If you can't print your Pull List:

Check Browser Permissions – Allow pop-ups from VerseDB.

Try a Different Browser – Test in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Disable Browser Extensions – Ad blockers may interfere with print views.

Clear Browser Cache – Cached data might cause issues.

CSV Export Not Working (Pro Feature Only)

If you're a Pro user but can't export:

Verify Your Subscription – Check if your VerseDB Pro subscription is active:

  1. Go to Profile Settings → Subscription
  2. Confirm your Pro status

Try Logging Out and Back In – Refresh your session.

Clear Browser Cache – Old cached data might interfere.

Check Export History – Go to Dashboard → Exports to see if it's processing.

📌 If export is still not working after confirming Pro status, report to Support.

Issue: Calendar View Not Loading

If the calendar view isn't displaying correctly:

Refresh the Page – Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R).

Check Your Date Range – Ensure you're viewing a period with upcoming releases.

Try Grid View – Switch to Grid or List view to confirm your data exists.

Disable Browser Extensions – Some extensions interfere with calendar rendering.

📌 Calendar view requires JavaScript to be enabled.

Issue: Budget Tracking Not Accurate

If your budget calculations seem incorrect:

Check Skipped Issues – Skipped issues should not count toward budget.

Verify Release Dates – Only issues within the budget period are counted.

Check Series Status – Only active series count toward budget.

Confirm Issue Prices – Some issues may not have price data yet.

📌 Budget is calculated based on upcoming releases with known prices.

Issue: Groups Not Saving or Displaying

If custom groups aren't working:

Use Letters and Numbers Only – Avoid special characters in group names.

Check for Typos – Group names are case-sensitive.

Save After Editing – Make sure you click "Save" when editing series.

Refresh the Page – Clear cache and reload to see updated groups.

Issue: Series Shows Wrong Number of Upcoming Issues

If the issue count seems incorrect:

Check Release Dates – Only future releases are counted.

Verify Skipped Issues – Skipped issues may not be counted.

Check Series Status – Paused or canceled series won't show new issues.

Wait for Data Updates – Issue data refreshes periodically.

📌 Issue counts update when new releases are added to the database.
