The bot gives you fast access to the full VerseDB database through slash commands. Type /search with a query and an optional type filter (Series, Issues, Characters, or Creators) to find what you're looking for in seconds.

Need something specific? Dedicated commands have you covered:

/issue looks up any issue by name and number (try "Batman 1" or "Saga 54")
/series pulls up a full series with publisher, year range, and issue count
/character finds any character across all publishers
/creator surfaces a creator's credits and bio
/publisher shows publisher details and their catalog

Every result comes back as a rich embed with cover art, metadata, and a direct link to the full page on VerseDB. When your search returns multiple matches, a dropdown menu lets you pick the right one.

Once your VerseDB account is linked, the bot becomes personal. /pulllist shows your active pull list. /collection gives you a snapshot of your collection stats. /reading tracks your reading progress, and /unread jumps straight to your next unread issue in any series.

Wondering if you already own that variant your friend just posted? /owned checks your collection for you.

You can even drop a quick review with /review. Pick the issue, set a rating from 0.5 to 5 stars, add optional text, and it's live on VerseDB.

Tip

Link your VerseDB account through your account settings on the website. Once connected, all personal commands work automatically in any server where the bot is installed.

Hunting for first appearances? /key-issues shows key issue reasons for any character, from first appearances to deaths to origin stories.

VerseDB Pro subscribers get extra tools. /price pulls market prices with grade estimates and recent sales data. /variants shows every variant cover for an issue, including ratio variants, store exclusives, and foil covers.

Auto-Posts Keep Your Server Updated

Server admins can set up automatic posts that keep the community informed without anyone lifting a finger. Use /config to assign post types to specific channels. The command supports three actions (show, set, and disable) across five post types:
