Black Widow

Black Widow is a Marvel Comics character and elite espionage operative whose real name is Natasha Romanoff. Created by Stan Lee, Don Rico, and Don Heck, she first appeared in Tales of Suspense #52 (1964) as a Soviet enemy of Iron Man before defecting and joining the Avengers. Trained from childhood in the Black Widow program, she operates at peak human physical condition and is equipped with signature wrist-mounted electroshock weapons known as the Widow's Bite. She has starred in numerous solo series since 1970.
