Description
Kinnikuman, real name Suguru Kinniku, is the protagonist of the manga series of the same name by the duo Yudetamago, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1979 to 1987. Originally a spoof of tokusatsu superheroes, the series evolved into a semi-serious professional wrestling story as Suguru discovers he is the lost prince of Planet Kinniku and competes in superhero wrestling tournaments. The franchise spawned a long-running sequel series and multiple anime adaptations.
