The Eel is a Marvel villain, the second character to use the identity after Leopold Stryke. Edward Lavell wears an armored suit coated in a slick, grease-like substance that makes him nearly impossible to hold.
He first appeared as a foe of Power Man and Iron Fist. Over time Lavell worked as an enforcer for criminal organizations such as the Maggia and the Masters of Evil.
