Akarat

Akarat is a wandering ascetic from Xiansai whose teachings founded the Zakarum faith in the world of Sanctuary. Born to an Umbaru mother and Xian father, he claimed to have received a revelation from the archangel Yaerius and spent his life spreading the doctrine of the Inner Light across Kehjistan and beyond.

After vanishing from recorded history centuries ago, Akarat has mysteriously returned from the dead, claiming to spread peace and the Light. His resurrection draws both devoted followers and deep suspicion across a Sanctuary still reeling from the events of Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred.
