Murakami Gennosuke is an anthropomorphic rhinoceros bounty hunter in Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo. Once the son of a samurai serving the Shirogeta Clan, he fell into poverty after his family's fortunes collapsed and turned to hunting criminals for reward money. Known simply as Gen, he becomes an unlikely recurring ally of the wandering ronin Miyamoto Usagi, trading barbs and blades in equal measure.
