Cal'syee Neramani is Deathbird, the older sister of Shi'ar empress Lilandra and a recurring antagonist in Marvel's X-Men comics, first appearing in Ms. Marvel #9 in September 1977. Created by Chris Claremont, Dave Cockrum, and Keith Pollard, she was exiled from the Shi'ar Empire after murdering her mother and a sister, and has sought power and revenge across decades of cosmic Marvel storylines. She has appeared as both villain and reluctant ally across X-Men, Avengers, and Shi'ar-related stories.
