Riptide is a mutant killer who fights by spinning at blinding speed, forcing calcium spurs through his skin in the shape of shuriken and flinging them outward as he turns. Chris Claremont and John Romita Jr. introduced him in Uncanny X-Men #211 in 1986 as one of Mister Sinister's Marauders.
