Max Fury is a Life Model Decoy prototype originally created in the image of Nick Fury. He was reprogrammed with the Zodiac Key, which granted him independent thought, setting him apart from other LMDs.
Despite evidence, Max Fury persistently believes himself to be the genuine Nick Fury. He later became a leader within the Shadow Council.
