Sooraya Qadir is a Pashtun Muslim mutant from Kandahar, Afghanistan, who possesses the ability to transform her body into a cloud of silicon particles she can shape and direct at will. She was discovered and rescued from captivity by Wolverine and Fantomex before being brought to the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. Training alongside other young mutants, she joined several teams including the Hellions squad and became a member of the broader X-Men network.
