Shogo Lee is the adopted son of Jubilee, orphaned as an infant by a disaster in Budapest and brought back by her to the Jean Grey School. His arrival reshaped Jubilee's role in the X-Men books, turning her into a mother raising a child inside a school under constant threat. Shogo grows up on Krakoa surrounded by mutants without manifesting a mutant power of his own, which is much of the point of him.
