Ted Braddock is a television news reporter who accused the Human Torch, Johnny Storm, of being an attention seeking nuisance. He reported on The Eel's theft of an atomic device and changed his opinion on Johnny after he saved a veterans' center from destruction as Braddock's son was hospitalized there.
