Description

Moby Duck is a salty, seafaring duck captain who debuted in Donald Duck #112 (1967), created by writer Vic Lockman and artist Tony Strobl. Named as a pun on Herman Melville's famous white whale, Moby is known for his honest character, deep knowledge of the sea, and the company of his loyal pet porpoise Porpy. He starred in his own comic series and has taken members of the Duck family along for adventures across many stories, particularly in European Disney publications.
