Condorito is an anthropomorphic condor and the protagonist of a Chilean comic strip of the same name, created by cartoonist René Ríos Boettiger (known as Pepo) and first published in the Chilean magazine Okey in 1949. A lower-class character who relies on wit and cunning rather than wealth or talent, he became one of the most recognized comic characters in Latin America and has been widely read throughout Spanish-speaking countries for decades. The strip has been published in multiple languages and adapted into an animated film.
