Kingpin is the London spymaster who runs Lord Peter Flint in the D.C. Thomson weekly Warlord, which began in 1974. Bulky, gruff and Churchillian, he fills the role that M fills for James Bond, handing his agent one wartime assignment after another.
He is a fixture of the Codename Warlord strip rather than a field operative, and has no connection to the Marvel villain of the same name.
