Magnus (Roberto Raviola)
Roberto Raviola, who worked as Magnus, was an Italian cartoonist born in Bologna in 1939. He began his comics career in 1964 alongside writer Max Bunker, creating Kriminal and Satanik, adult genre series that helped launch the fumetti neri movement in Italian comics. Magnus worked across crime, science fiction, and adventure, recognized for his atmospheric black-and-white technique. His 1975 series Lo Sconosciuto is considered among his finest works. He died in 1996.
