Ryō Ikuemi is a Japanese shōjo manga artist who debuted in 1979 at the age of fifteen in Margaret magazine. She worked as an exclusive artist for Bessatsu Margaret through the 1990s before expanding to freelance work. Her series Barairo no Ashita won the 2000 Shōgakukan Manga Award for shōjo, and Kiyoku Yawaku earned the 2009 Kōdansha Manga Award for shōjo and was adapted as a live-action film in 2013.
