Masashi Ueda
Biography
Masashi Ueda is a Japanese manga artist born in 1947 in Tokyo best known for the long-running four-panel comic strip Kobo, the Li'l Rascal, which he has been drawing for the Daily Yomiuri newspaper since 1982. The strip has run for over 10,000 installments and inspired an anime adaptation. His earlier series Furiten-kun earned him the 28th Bungeishunjyu Manga Award in 1982.
