Brian Herbert is an American author and the son of Dune creator Frank Herbert. He has helped expand and continue his father's famous science fiction world.
With co-writer Kevin J. Anderson, Brian Herbert has written many Dune novels, including prequels about the great houses. These books form the basis for several Dune comic series.
He has also written his own novels and a biography of his father. His work keeps the Dune universe growing for new readers.
