Aka Akasaka is a Japanese manga artist best known for Kaguya-sama: Love is War, a romantic comedy serialized in Weekly Young Jump from 2016 and winner of the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award. He also wrote Oshi no Ko in collaboration with illustrator Mengo Yokoyari. Akasaka began his career as an assistant to the creators of Deadman Wonderland before debuting with his own serialized work in 2011.
