Nobuhiro Sakata
Nobuhiro Sakata was a Japanese manga writer who brought his background as a professional golfer to the comics page. His long-running golf drama Kaze no Daichi, illustrated by Eiji Kazama and serialized in Big Comic Original from 1991, won the Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category in 1993. He also wrote the golf series DAN DOH!! and continued producing sports manga throughout his career.
