Japanese manga artist best known for Mogura no Uta (The Mole Song), a crime comedy about an undercover police officer infiltrating the yakuza. The series debuted in Weekly Young Sunday in 2005 before moving to Big Comic Spirits and then Grand Jump. By 2023 it had surpassed 10 million copies in circulation, won the 2014 Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category, and was adapted into live-action films.
