Biography
Enki Bilal is a French comic artist and writer, discovered as a teenager by Rene Goscinny and first published in Pilote magazine in 1972. He is best known for the Nikopol Trilogy, a science fiction saga he wrote and illustrated alone between 1980 and 1992. He later created the Hatzfeld tetralogy and directed the film Immortel, based on his own work.
