Larry Marder (born 1951) is an American cartoonist best known as the creator of Tales of the Beanworld, an idiosyncratic fantasy series he launched in 1984. Trained at the Hartford Art School, he worked as an advertising art director before Beanworld found publishers including Eclipse and later Dark Horse. Marder also spent years on the business side of comics, serving as executive director of Image Comics through the 1990s and later as president of McFarlane Toys. He returned to new Beanworld work in 2009.
