Hiromu Arakawa is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating Fullmetal Alchemist, serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan from 2001 to 2010. The series won the 49th Shogakukan Manga Award and was adapted into two anime television series. Her other major works include Silver Spoon and the manga adaptation of The Heroic Legend of Arslan.
