H.R. Giger
H.R. Giger was a Swiss artist known for his biomechanical style, which fused human anatomy with machinery in cold, unsettling forms. He gained renown with the 1977 art collection Necronomicon, whose imagery led to his Oscar-winning creature and set design for the film Alien. Trained in industrial design and architecture, he worked across painting, sculpture, and film. His airbrushed surrealism influenced generations of fantasy and horror art.
