Free Comic Book Day & Comics Giveaway Day 2026 — Downtown Rochester

Jetpack Comics anchors Rochester's citywide Free Comic Book Day and Comics Giveaway Day festival, one of the largest FCBD celebrations in New England. The event draws thousands of visitors across multiple downtown venues: free comics and a scavenger hunt begin at Jetpack at 10 AM, creator appearances and a vendor marketplace run throughout the day at The Governor's Inn, and a cosplay costume contest caps the afternoon at 4 PM. Artist Alley sets up at the Rochester Opera House, and participating businesses throughout downtown offer their own deals and activities.
