About This Event
The Akron Comicon is an annual two-day comic and pop-culture convention held at Emidio's Expo Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, just outside Akron. Now in its 14th year, the show is a celebration of mainstream and independent comics past and present, featuring an artists' alley, exhibitor hall, cosplay contest, and panels, with past and confirmed guests including comic creators such as Tom Batiuk, Craig Boldman, and Jenny Blake Isabella. The event runs the first full weekend of November and supports the Hero Initiative charity for comic creators in need.
