Fear Itself Tie-In, Part 1

Sunspot and Magma are kidnapped by a Los Angeles gladiator gang called the Gladiators, prompting Cannonball and Magik to pursue them with help from Lila Cheney and Dazzler. Illyana teleports them to LA, but the journey also hurls them through time, leaving them a week behind and trapped in a deadly arena. Magneto interrupts the confrontation, seeking aid from the New Mutants to counter the Beyonder, pulling the storyline into Secret Wars II as Xavier’s plans unfold and the team faces a larger crossover.
