Two Bad Seeds #1s ship on the same Wednesday. Gotham Central #1 is written by Christopher Cantwell with art by Jacob Phillips, and Gotham General #1 is written by Greg Rucka with art by Rosa Ekedal. Both launch out of DC's Gotham crossover, and Bleeding Cool and Comic Watch both carry the pair in DC's September solicitations.
Dark Horse has the other launch. Six of Us #1 puts Tom King, Gabriel Hernandez Walta, Jordie Bellaire and Clayton Cowles on the same book for the first time since The Vision, on a murder inside a hit television show. Dark Horse solicits it as six issues at $4.99.
Image has the strange one. Spawn 77 #1 opens a three-issue run co-written by Todd McFarlane and Mark Spears, with painted interiors by Spears, built from a character design McFarlane drew in 1977. Image's own release and ICv2 both put it at 64 pages for $6.99.
