Post Malone's Big Rig (2025)
Description
Grammy-nominated musician Post Malone co-created this gleefully unhinged limited series with writer Adrian Wassel and artist Nathan Gooden, pitching it as "Evil Dead meets Mad Max: Fury Road" set in medieval Europe. The premise is exactly as bonkers as that sounds: during the Dark Ages, demon hordes pour out of Hell to invade Earth, and a secret Knights Templar sect called the Six Petals desperately needs a weapon to turn the tide. What they get is a fully armored 18-wheeler crashing down from the heavens. The only survivor is an excommunicated priest who becomes "Trucker," leading humanity's counterattack from behind the wheel of a demon-slaying big rig.
The series debuted on Free Comic Book Day 2025 and moved over 100,000 copies almost immediately, proving there's absolutely an audience for heavy metal medieval trucking horror. Christopher Yost (Thor: Ragnarok) called it "the most metal fucking thing I've ever read," which is probably the exact reaction Malone was going for. A feature film adaptation is already in development with Michael Bay directing, because of course it is.
