Princeless: The Pirate Princess (2014)
In this Princeless arc, Adrienne Ashe and Bedelia set out to free another caged princess, only to find that Raven Xingtao is nobody's damsel. The daughter of the Pirate King, Raven has been imprisoned by her own brothers, who stole her inheritance. Springing her looses a force of nature, and Adrienne is soon swept into Raven's quest for revenge. This arc marks Raven's first appearance. She would soon headline her own spin-off, Raven the Pirate Princess, pairing Whitley's fairy-tale subversion with the start of a high-seas adventure.
