Velvet (2013)

A 1970s Cold War spy thriller, Velvet follows Velvet Templeton, the seemingly unremarkable secretary of spy agency ARC-7, who is framed for the murder of the world's greatest agent. Written by Ed Brubaker with art by Steve Epting and colors by Bettie Breitweiser, the series draws on literary espionage tradition to tell a story about a woman far deadlier than she appears.
