The series is set in an alternate future of the Marvel Universe, where the entire population of Earth has developed superpowers. The story explores the consequences of this transformation on society and the heroes themselves. Key characters include Captain America, who is now an older and more cynical leader, and a blind Daredevil. The narrative follows the heroes as they confront a new threat posed by the Celestials and the machinations of the Red Skull. 'Earth X' is known for its deep philosophical themes and its exploration of the Marvel Universe's mythology. The series was followed by two sequels, 'Universe X' and 'Paradise X', expanding on the alternate universe created in 'Earth X'.
