DESCRIPTION
Published between 2002 and 2003, 'Paradise X' is a limited series written by Jim Krueger and Alex Ross, with art by Doug Braithwaite. It is the third part of the Earth X trilogy, following 'Earth X' and 'Universe X'. The series explores the aftermath of the events in 'Universe X', where the universe is in a state of chaos after the revelation of the Celestials' true purpose. Key characters include Captain America, X-51 (Machine Man), and Mar-Vell, who play pivotal roles in addressing the existential threats posed by the Celestials and the new pantheon of gods. The story delves into themes of destiny, power, and the nature of divinity. 'Paradise X' consists of 12 main issues and several additional one-shots and tie-ins, which expand on the main narrative. The series was published by Marvel Comics and is part of the main Marvel Universe continuity, although it presents an alternate future scenario. The series is noted for its complex narrative and philosophical themes, as well as its detailed artwork by Braithwaite and Ross.
