Description

A 2007 Spider-Man four-part arc by J. Michael Straczynski and Joe Quesada, appearing in Amazing Spider-Man #544-545, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #24, and Sensational Spider-Man #41.

Following the Civil War event and the shooting of Aunt May, Peter and Mary Jane make a deal with Mephisto that erases their marriage from continuity. The controversial storyline had major implications for Spider-Man's status quo.
