DESCRIPTION
Published from 2008 to 2009, 'Brand New Day' is a significant storyline in the 'Amazing Spider-Man' series by Marvel Comics. Following the controversial 'One More Day' arc, which saw Peter Parker's marriage to Mary Jane Watson erased from continuity, 'Brand New Day' marked a fresh start for Spider-Man. The storyline was spearheaded by a rotating team of writers including Dan Slott, Marc Guggenheim, Bob Gale, and Zeb Wells, with art by Steve McNiven, Phil Jimenez, and others. The arc introduced new characters such as Mister Negative and Menace, and revitalized classic villains like the Green Goblin and the Lizard. It also saw Peter Parker dealing with new challenges, including a new job at the Daily Bugle and a rekindled friendship with Harry Osborn. The storyline was published across 'The Amazing Spider-Man' issues #546-564 and #568-588, effectively turning the series into a thrice-monthly publication. 'Brand New Day' was pivotal in redefining Spider-Man's character and setting the stage for future developments in the series.
