Old Man Logan

Published from 2008 to 2009, Old Man Logan was a Wolverine storyline by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven set in an alternate future where supervillains conquered America fifty years ago. Logan, now a pacifist farmer, lives in California territory controlled by the Hulk's inbred descendants.

When he can't pay rent, he accepts a cross-country delivery job with a blind Hawkeye, traveling through a nightmarish landscape where the Red Skull rules from the White House and Venom has bonded with a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The story gradually reveals the traumatic event that made Logan swear off violence. It inspired elements of the film Logan.
