Spider-Man

1963 (Ongoing)

DESCRIPTION

Spider-Man is one of Marvel Comics' most beloved and recognizable superheroes, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. First appearing in Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1962, Spider-Man is the alter ego of Peter Parker, a high school student who gains spider-like abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider. His powers include wall-crawling, superhuman strength and agility, a precognitive "spider-sense," and the ability to create web-shooters. Unlike many superheroes, Peter Parker struggles with everyday problems like paying rent, maintaining relationships, and balancing his responsibilities as both a superhero and an ordinary person, making him one of the most relatable characters in comics.
