Description

Karate Kid is a member of the 31st-century Legion of Super-Heroes, one of the few to earn his place through skill rather than superpowers. Born Val Armorr, son of the crime lord known as Black Dragon, he was raised and trained from infancy by the hero Sensei after his father's death. He mastered nearly every form of martial arts in the galaxy and blended them into his own discipline. He joined the Legion after impressing its members in single combat, proving a powerless human could stand among super-powered teammates.
