Keiichi Nakagawa

Keiichi Nakagawa is a main character in the manga series KochiKame (Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo) by Osamu Akimoto. He has appeared since the first serialized chapter in 1976.

Nakagawa is a patrol officer at the Kameari Park Police Box in Tokyo's Katsushika ward, working alongside the series protagonist Kankichi Ryotsu. He comes from an extraordinarily wealthy family, as his father is the CEO of the Nakagawa Corporation. He wears a distinctive yellow uniform custom-designed by Pierre Cardin.

In contrast to the brash and scheming Ryotsu, Nakagawa is even-tempered, cooperative, and diligent. He is portrayed as an ideal worker who excels in business and finance topics. His extreme wealth and refined manners serve as a comedic foil to Ryotsu's working-class antics. KochiKame ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1976 to 2016, spanning 200 collected volumes and holding a Guinness record for the most volumes published by a single author in a single comic book series.
