Description
Mercedes "Misty" Knight is a former NYPD officer who lost her right arm in a bomb explosion and received a bionic replacement from Tony Stark, going on to become a skilled private detective and martial artist, first appearing in Marvel Premiere #21 in March 1975. Created by Tony Isabella and Arvell Jones, she frequently partnered with Colleen Wing as the Daughters of the Dragon and later served with Heroes for Hire alongside Luke Cage and Iron Fist. She has appeared across numerous Marvel titles as one of the company's earliest Black female characters.
