Largo Winch

Largo Winczlav is a Yugoslavian orphan adopted in secret by Nerio Winch to lead his business empire. After the murder of his adopted father, the young orphan is propelled to the head of Group W.

Largo first appears in The Winczlav Fortune, a prequel to the Largo Winch series. He is the son of Daniza and Joseph, who were both murdered in Yugoslavia while Nerio was looking for the child. Nerio saved him and adopted him as his heir, entrusting him to the Gleibers in Liechtenstein who raised him in secret until he was sent to boarding school in Switzerland.

When Nerio dies, Largo inherits the financial empire through a complex arrangement with a Liechtenstein bank.
