Knull

Primordial deity who existed before the current Marvel Universe, created when the sixth iteration of the cosmos was destroyed. When the Celestials formed the seventh cosmos and filled it with light, Knull rebelled against creation itself. He forged All-Black the Necrosword from the living darkness and used it to decapitate a Celestial.

Knull created the symbiote race from his own dark essence and ruled them through a telepathic hive mind. His first sword eventually fell to Gorr the God Butcher. When Thor's lightning severed Knull's connection to his symbiotes in the sixth century, many rebelled and imprisoned him on the planet Klyntar for millennia.

Created by Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman, Knull first appeared unnamed in Thor: God of Thunder #6 (2013) before his full introduction in Venom #3 (2018).
