Nancy Woods is a recurring character in Archie Comics and the girlfriend of Chuck Clayton, first appearing in Pep Comics #309 in 1976. She is part of Riverdale High's extended cast and one of the few Black female characters in the core Archie line. Nancy and Chuck have been among Archie's most consistently depicted Black characters across decades of publication, appearing throughout the main Archie titles.
