The enigmatic mutant known as Pulse has the power to nullify other mutants' powers. He was brought to the X-Men by Mystique who wished to disrupt the relationship between Rogue and Gambit. The former cat burglar, and self-professed coward, joined the X-Men in a battle against Apocalypse.
